Running with Mommy

Last weekend MOmmy and me went to the bEAch and went for a runn. Mommy is doing some race where lots of people run down the middle of the street - where they are not supposed to be - and then run around in circles for a long time. i'd like TO do this to but Im not allowED - hmmmpf. so Mommy runs on the path and I run EVERYWHERE and it's great.

Isn't my Mommy cute? and bobby too - he has the treats so i have to be nice to him.

Fun in the Snow

Today was a very fun day. My mommy took me to see this cold white puffy stuff that they kept calling snow. I didn't really know what they were talking about until I jumped out of the car and for some reason I almost slipped and fell over. Even with my four leg drive it was hard to stand up - and my feet were getting COLD. Kinda weird. Anyways I decided to go and check out this white stuff called snow and I went running up the mountain. I couldn't run as fast as normal because I kept slipping but that was ok - I was still way faster than all the two legged people who could barely even walk at all. Then this guy who seems to be hanging around my mommy alot (I haven't decided if I like that yet) started throwing these white balls at me. I chased them and when I grabbed them in my mouth they were cold and icey and they just broke into little pieces.

I think I like snow and I hope that my mommy will take me to see it again. Maybe she could put some better shoes on next time, the kind that let her walk on snow, and we could go for a bit of a hike.

"The Kid"

Well, now that I am a whole one years old, my mommy is letting me try some new things! This week she let this little person come over to play. I have heard my puppy pals talking about these when I am at the doggy park- I think they call them 'kids'. My friend Tilly has two - a boy kid and a girl kid. I am not sure where this one came from but she was really cute! These 'kids' are like the other humans but littler and like to play a lot! My 'kids' name was Olivia. Before she came my mom keep saying "livers is coming, livers is coming." I thought she mean't I was getting a new type of food. I liked her though and she tasted so much better than liver! She threw the ball for me sooo many times - I loved it! I got so excited, I jumped up on her and she squealed! I am going to ask Santa for a 'kid' for Christmas!

Happy Birthday to Me!

My mommy told me that I turned one this week. I had a party at the park and we got to eat these yummy things called "pupcakes". It was great - my mommy was there and my bobby handed out the pupcakes. My auntie Pam came with her friend Stephen and they brough me a bone! The humans had these pointy things on their heads - I think they were called birthday cats! My mommy tried to put one on my head but when she turned around I ate it! The best thing about my birthday was I did my favorite thing - ate some poo! What more could a dog ask for???

Finally I got to a computer! I didn't know that my mommy was going to ship me off to my grandma's house. I was suspicious when she put my bed in her car but I was distracted by my Aunty Carrie rubbing my belly! Next thing I know I'm on a ferry!

Grandma's house is fun. I like to steal her things because she runs after me. She also throws the ball for me lots. I especially like it when my grandma goes out and my grandpa babysits. He really likes tv and if I act all good and innocent, he forgets how naughty I can be and gets distracted. That's when the fun begins!

I wonder what my doggie friends think? I hope they don't think I moved! I have another doggy friend over here - Bailey - he's old though and he steals my bone. He likes to sleep alot too - boring!

Hi My name is Lucy and I am a Hungarian Vizsla. My mom's name is Robyn and she is the coolest. She is so nice to me - taking me for long walks, throwing the ball, cuddling, and everything. When mom's at work sometimes she leaves the computer on so I decided to setup this blog so that I could keep in touch with all the other doggies in my neighborhood (and there's lots!) This is me and my mom down at the beach - isn't she great!
